About me

Loraine Luong is a Chinese-Canadian multi-disciplinary artist from Toronto, she specializes in print and publications, photography and digital illustration. The concepts of her work reflect her Chinese-Canadian experience and the idea of cultural dysphoria, a feeling of identity displacement caused by cross-cultural backgrounds.

Loraine has a BFA from OCAD University, where she studied Cross-Disciplinary Arts: Publications with a minor in Photography. She also has a publishing graduate certificate from Centennial College's Publishing: Book, Magazine and Electronic program. Her current focus is working in the publishing industry, making art and photo documentary through digital and film photography.
