Feeling displaced and existing in between, I seek to find authenticity, acceptance and validation of myself. Yunyun: Loraine is a visual autoethnography that unveils my personal complex with my Asian, Chinese Canadian identity. Through this diaristic book I respond to life occurrences and events such as my childhood, and reflect on those experiences that influenced my cultural identity. The concepts of this project are cross-cultural identity and duality.
